Boarding Options

Full Board
Includes:
– 11 x 11 box stall cleaned daily
– Grain and hay twice a day
– Steamed hay available at additional cost
– Administration of supplements and medications (provided by owner)
– Daily checks for injury
– Care for minor cuts and injuries
– Necessary blanketing, booting, fly masks, and fly spray (provided by owner)
– Day turnout: Fall – Spring/Early Summer
– Night turnout: Spring/Early Summer – Fall

Layup Board
– Layup horses will be accepted on a case by case basis
– All layup horses will be required to be on a gut health regime
Includes:
– Full board care
– Full stall rest if needed
– Administration of supplements and medications (provided by owner)
– Bandage changes (provided by owner)
– Hand walking as directed
– Individual turnout if needed

Additional Services

– Worming: Fecal samples must be pulled and tested upon arrival at Westfold and horse must be treated as needed. Fecal samples will be pulled and tested 2x/year at cost to owner and horses will be treated as needed
